    Thank you for your insight. there are days i feel so alone in my thoughts of the Lord. Especially when there are those that persecute others who do not profess Christ. Mother Theresa was a good example of The love of My father in Heaven. If we all should be so disciplined in our way of thinking, I know we would see much more peace and Love in our world. Jesus sat and drank with sinners and unbelievers to prove his love, and he died and rose again for this same purpose. The sun rises on the sinner and non sinner alike. Why? because he Loves us all! That includes those who defy his kingship in heaven. I am positive that spreading the good news goes beyond just the Word itself. It must flow through us in actions and words, and deeds, otherwise our “faith is useless!” We are more than conquerers! we are a manifestation of His Love!

    Therefore, as followers of Jesus - People should find Jesus reflected in every action of ours. You know Mahatma Gandhi, is reputed of having said, I like Christ- but I do not like CHRISTians, any wonder why he reached such a conclusion, simple - he could not see Christ in the Christians. But there is yet time, we talk of END TIMES, but you know our Merciful God, is waiting for the whole world to be saved - How can he end the world?
    On the various comments, let me note - One was on Judgement - Now I guess there is a big difference in judging and doing what is right and being judgemental on someone else’s actions.
    On Forgiving - Remember Christ has said forgive 70 times seven, which in other words would be endless time, don’t you think God forgives us much more than that? It is difficult,but we should lift our difficulties to God in prayer.
    On divorce - Please note Christ was specific that what God has put together no man should put asunder. Divorce is not recommended by Christ, but he said that in the event of a partner being unfaithful, one could divorce, but then such a person, could not or should not marry again - Is this what is happening in today’s world?
    About Jeus being FATHER - Please God is ONE, but the identities are three - FATHER,SON & HOLY SPIRIT - It is these identities that not being understood has caused the Muslims to reject Christ, but even in their rejection, they acknowledge him, they insist that they cannot deny him and are aware that he is COMING AGAIN.
    And about persons from other religions not being saved - The Catholic Church never teaches this, and the matter is simply proved by Rome, where they have allowed a Mosque, for people to worship, unlike Saudi Arabia, who are trying to incite Muslim countries the world around to not allow people worship in their own FAITH.
    And finally, the reason why I advocate ONE CHURCH, ONE FAITH for Christians, is for Jesus’ sake who prayed to the Father, Let them be ONE, as we are ONE - When we become ONE, it will be easier for us to show the world the Love of Christ.
    Man are we going to be surprised, when we reach the Pearly Gates, to find people, there whom we least expected to be there.

    While scripture tells us that faith without works is dead it also tells us that there is only one way to salvation. Mother Theresa is a wonderful example of works through faith. She had faith in the one only begotten son, she was a believer. She loved and helped many who did not have this faith, as a result I am sure, many came to join their savior, there ought to be more like her.
    On the only hand, you like many others around the world are assuming that as long as you do good works by itself this is sufficient in God’s eyes. While this may be hard to understand, if man’s actions alone were sufficient then we would not have any need for a Messiah in the first place. God would have no need to send his son to die in man’s place. He bore our sins and hung them on the tree. He undid what Adam did by disobedience.
    To claim that anyone, no matter how wonderful and giving a person, can achieve heaven on their own is to make Yeshua’s death in vain. This would include even mother Theresa IF she wasn’t a believer.
    Before Yeshua’s death on the tree there were men that were counted as righteous such as Noah, Abraham and Moshe. The only righteousness available to man then was to obey the Creator, so it was counted to them as righteousness. These were men, that although not perfect by any means, did strive to obey the Creator and I believe that they are in heaven now even though technically they lived their lives before Yeshua came as a man to this earth.
    On the other hand, the bible talks about Abraham’s bosom and the sinner in hell wanting to quench his thirst so Abraham was in some place at least before the death and resurrection of Yeshua, call the place whatever you want. Does this mean that the millions of people out there that, for whatever reasons, have not heard the gospel but who sincerely try to help and love others and are living a “good” life are going to hell? I believe that at the last instance they get a chance to hear the truth about Messiah and then they get to make a choice. However, those who reject Messiah and think they can be saved by their works alone are in for a surprise, and a great disappointment.
    This is the reason our Jewish Messiah asked his Jewish talmidim, (apostles) to go into all the world and preach the good news to man. Any religion (and there were even more then, than there are today) won’t do unless salvation by the blood of Messiah is at its core. All those religions were considered pagan back then by the maker. Furthermore, from one can read in the First Testament, their actions, such as worshiping Astharte, also known as the goddess of fertility Isktar, or mother nature, were deemed abominations by Yah.
    When the children of Israel got in trouble time and again and were repeatedly chastised by our maker it was because they tried to worship Yah following the religious traditions of their neighbors and worshiping these other deities as well. If any religion would do then Yah would have accepted it, but on the contrary, it made him angry. The other religions were rejected by God as false, regardless of how sincere, and well meaning its adherents were. He in effect condemned the religious beliefs of others. Only one religion was accepted then and it was the one given to Moses, Judaism, from which later Christianity arose (although personally, I believe that up to at least the destruction of the temple, biblical and historical evidence shows that they continue to follow Torah and the Jewish faith, only with the belief that the promised Messiah had come).
    The truth of the matter is that, as Yeshua taught us, even if you THINK about something sinful you might as well have done it already. Scripture tells us that all men have fallen short of the glory of God, there is no one, not even one that can claim 100% loving all the time. Consider the zillions that honestly love Yeshua but still won’t do as he did, and this includes many loving people as they are still learning, we all are.
    The reality is we could not stand before the father without perishing if we don’t have our advocate Yeshua, he and only he (and I mean he and only he) can be the intermediary between Yah and man. Love alone won’t connect you to Yah, he will spew you out faster than the speed of light. Our so called love stinks to Yah unless that person has the blood of Messiah Yeshua in the lintels of their heart.
    That is the bottom line, are they saved or not? We need to pray for all mankind to be saved for that is what Yah wants; that nobody will perish. Still each person must make a personal decision for we are saved by accepting Yehsua from our free will. Then once part of Messiah’s family is our job to study scriptures diligently to show, as the word says, ourselves approved.
    May Yah bless you with a deep understanding of his entire bible and a desire to seek him more.

    There is no biblical or historical evidence that shows Israel worshiping a stone or statue, quite to the contrary their neighbors did this and when Israel joined their neighbors and did what they were doing, Yah became displeased and sent prophets to speak to Israel, the apple of his eyes. The eventual fall from grace of King Solomon is that he married many foreign women that brought with them their stone deities which they worshipped and eventually convinced King Solomon to worship as well. The good kings of Israel and Judah would get rid of all the statues in the land because they followed Yah’s words. One of the ten commandments is not to worship any other gods. Yah appeared to Israel and the foreigners with her as a pillar of fire or a cloud, never as a stone statue.
    When Yeshua came the priestly Aaronic line had been broken already, Caiphas and the others were puppet priests from Hellenized Jewish families who bought their position from Rome. Rome counted on them to help control the Judeans from revolting against Rome as Rome wanted absolute power over everyone. At the time of Yeshua’s ministry there were several Jewish sects with various interpretations of the First Testament, very much like today Christians have various interpretations of the Second Testament. Yeshua himself was a Jewish rabbi, that accepted Torah as authoritative scripture from God and who taught his followers his interpretation of it. He was a teacher of Torah (the law) and the prophets, which is why he quoted often from Torah. You don’t quote from a book you don’t believe in or is no longer valid. Rabbis even to this day discuss the many points of the law, Yeshua as the excellent rabbi he is explained what the law was really supposed to be like. He affirmed that not a yod (a very tiny letter of the Hebrew alphabet) would go away till it is all fulfilled. Of course the kingdom hasn’t come yet so it is not fulfilled. Many of Yah’s feasts or appointment times are yet to take place. The feasts or appointment times of the father, such as Passover coming up next week, point to Yeshua. Yeshua is a loving son, he would not go against the father and the father talks about HIS laws, HIS Sabbath, HIS feasts in many places in the bible. These have not been done away with, if we look carefully Yeshua and the apostles were keeping these. That is what Yeshua was doing in Jerusalem during Passover that is one of the three pilgrimage feasts, that is what later the apostles and the others were doing in Jerushalayim during Shavuot or Pentecost, that is another Pilgrimage feast, that is what Yeshua, Joseph and Mary were doing in the temple when he was 12 they all went for Succot or Tabernacle which coincided with Yeshua’s bar mitzvah so he stayed at the temple marveling the rabbis…Even rabbi Shaul (Paul) paid for his and the other’s Nazarite vows at the temple years after Yeshua died and resurrected. They were all devout Jews who worshiped one real God, not a stone deity like the pagans did.
    From the fall of Adam it was necessary that another man would take the place for the fall of man. Yeshua in his love came instead to take our place as no man could have done it, so he paid the price for us all. That is why Yahveh sent Yeshua that none would perish. Precisely due to the fact that man is incapable of doing this on his own, even his set apart people could not do it, regardless of how many good works they did, no man could have done it. If we are to be his bride then we must follow his example. He can’t have a bride that is not saved nor can he have a bride that does not follow him in all he does or that thinks her good works alone are enough to get her into the kingdom.

    I did not want to get into this discussion, but Shoshana compels me. She has in an earlier mail writeen to me that she is Jewish, and, therefore, I can understand her leaning towards the Rabbinic teachings - and she refuses to acknowledge the Catholic teaching. I have said earlier, When Christ had said that not a word from the law would change, until all was fulfilled, he clearly spoke about him fulfilling the final and ultimate sacrifice, which he did on the cross, and among the last few words he uttered, one was ‘It is accomplished or fulfilled’. Please do not refer to what Jesus did, while he lived under the Jewish law, the beauty is in this that he lived under the Jewish law, but he came with a NEW COVENANT, a Covenant that has set mankind free with Grace. We are not, living under LAW - or else, we would still be circumcised, we would still have to offer Sin offerings, the temple in Jerusalem would still be the throne of God on earth, we would still be restricted from eating certain food, we would have been grave sinners for working on a Sabbath, we would be stoned to death for our transgressions, and the DEATH of Christ on the Cross would be USELESS. Shoshana is still awaiting certain feast from the Jewish traditions to happen, like the Jews are still awaiting the COMING OF THE MESSIAH. She is thus interpreting the NT as per her own understanding, as many of our Christian brothers/sisters are doing, ignoring completely that the Bible itself was compiled by the Church, and the authority for explanation rests with the Church. Simply understood, it would mean, that I write a book, and someone else explains, what I want to say. For all you people out there, please note and believe, the Bible is GOD’s word, written under God’s inspiration by MAN, God did not write the Bible. If MEN, had clearly understood what GOd was telling them, Christ would not have to ask his disciples, How and Why did David call his SON - LORD. MEN would not have disagreed with who the MESSIAH is, this after clearly the events of PALM SUNDAY (I.e. today) happened in front of their eyes, exactly as it was foretold in the OLD TESTAMENT - the Messiah, riding on a donkey on and people singing his praises.
    PRAISE GOD, my dear Catholic Brothers/Sisters and stay firm in the establishment of the ONE BODY of CHRIST. Let us pray for all those who want to mislead us that GOd shows them the light and leads them on the true and Narrow path. God Bless

They just had a different type of Judaism, one with a clear understanding of how Torah was to be kept, at least until the destruction of the temple. In fact, Yehsua enforced many of the laws making them more stringent, thus if one just thinks about evil in his heart is as if one has done it. There has always been God’s grace in the world right from the beginning, that did not start 2000 years ago.
    What do you supposed rabbi Shaul (Paul)was proving in Acts 24:14-18? There has been almost 2000 years of misunderstanding but that will soon change with the return of Messiah.
    Following the feasts of the father and keeping THE FATHER’S SABBATHS is not denied by the sacrificial nailing of Yehsua to the tree. Some of these feasts are yet to be fulfilled as we are NOT LIVING IN THE MILLENIUM YET. For lack of knowledge my people perish. Yeshua and his apostles did not keep on quoting the First testament because they felt it was obsolete, but because they felt it was still of value. God’s word is never obsolete; he is the same yesterday today and forever. The law, commandments or Torah’s teachings point to Yeshua. The Father’s moedims, appointment times or feasts are all symbolic, such as Passover is symbolic of Yeshua’s death in the middle of the week as our Passover lamb for the redemption of sins. The law he did away with is the law of death, which is what he meant when he said “It is finished”. He breached the gap between God the Father and man; the gap that was made in the garden. Why would he have died to do away with the Father’s law? That would be a definite oxymoron. Salvation comes from the Jews, knowing this Satan has done his best to foment hatred and Jewish persecution of Yeshua’s very own people and to muddle up God’s words.
    Pay close attention to scripture and let them speak by themselves:

    Oops! It was late whe I wrote last night…Passover starts tonight. This is when Yeshua (the name name of Messiah that was transleterated into Jesus)died after having celebrated his last Passover. Also let me reinterate we do not live by the law, we follow the feasts and Sabbaths of the father out of our love and obedience to him, the same way Yeshua showed us to do it, the same way the apostles and early believers did. We are saved by the bld of the eternal Passover lamb but as he said we are to follow him and do his commandments.
    The bible does not say observe Easter, nmaed after the fertility goddess Isktar, but people do it anyhow yet they mistakently refused to do as Yehsua did thinking that puts them under the law. The deception of Satan is big but let me assure you when Yehsua returns he will righten this. Happy Passover to those of you who follow.

    Now see, in your own words, you say atleast until the destruction of the temple - Wasn’t the living Temple, the body of Christ destroyed on the Cross?     Or is the temple still existing, and you are waiting for it to be destroyed, for yourself to move from the TORAH of the Old Covenant to the GOSPEL - (Good News) of the New Covenant.

    We Catholics, have a tabernacle, in every Church building, which enshrines the Body of Christ - and Revelations tells us of the Ark of the Covenant, that will be seen in the sky - Our Very Own Mother Mary. Because the bible also tells us in Jeremiah 3:16 “And when your land is once more filled with people,” says the LORD, “you will no longer wish for ‘the good old days’ when you possessed the Ark of the LORD’s covenant. Those days will not be missed or even thought about, and there will be no need to rebuild the Ark. 17 In that day Jerusalem will be known as The Throne of the LORD. All nations will come there to honor the LORD. They will no longer stubbornly follow their own evil desires. 18 In those days the people of Judah and Israel will return together from exile in the north. They will return to the land I gave their ancestors as an inheritance forever.

    We all agree that we are living in END TIMES, but I have heard it said, that the sure sign of END TIMES, will be when the Jews, in their multitude embrace CHRIST as the Saviour - for all of our sakes, I hope and pray that this happens fast, since the life that is awaiting us will be much better than the life that we are living now.

    The destruction of the temple took place in the year 70 CE. That is when the Romans burned the temple. The Romans could not put down the constant rebellion of the Jews. That is why they came up later on with the savvy political notion of declaring God’s laws as “Jewish” laws and forbade people from keeping them. Thus we got the Roman Sabbath (Sunday) and the Roman Christmas (December 25) and the Roman Easter (rather than the Passover Yehshua and his apostles kept, the same one he said he will keep again with us in the future). The Romans changed it all so as not to be like the Jews (in their ignorance they taught these were Jewish things rather than God’s). In other words they again sought to divide and conquer; they even changed the name of Judea to Palestinia. Sadly to this day people the world over think that keeping GOD’S laws is keeping Jewish laws! Talk about a successful political maneuver (obviously more diabolical in nature.)

    Yehshua’s body was not destroyed on the tree, he was not really destroyed. He died for 3 days and nights and then took his blood as our high priest to present it in the heavenly tabernacle, the holies of holies, as the perfect blood of the lamb for the redemption of our sins. That is why he said “It is finished” and that is why he would not allow himself to be touched till he presented his perfect blood in the heavenly temple (same type of “Jewish” temple king David had but the REAL one after which David’s tabernacle was built). The renting of the temple curtain was not its destruction; the tearing of the curtain signified that we can now go to the holies of holies instead of in the outer court. However, if you read the book of Acts you will notice that the apostles and the gentile believers kept going to the temple even after Yeshua’s death and resurrection. That is why rabbi Shaul (Paul) paid for the sacrifices at the end of his and others Nazarite vows.
    The Catholic church calls its sanctuary a tabernacle, some churches even call their entire building a tabernacle, some call it temple (including many Jewish synagogues),so be it. When Yehshua returns to establish his heavenly tabernacle on earth we are told ten gentiles will hang on to a Jew’s cloak, we are also told the nations will send representatives to Jerusalem during GOD’S feasts (Zach 14) or else will have no rain.
    Dear I respect your cherishing Mary so much but neither Yehsua nor the father seem to agree. Sure, he told one of his disciples to take care of her, after all back then women did not fare well by themselves. More than likely Joseph had been dead and Yehsua’s half brothers and sisters may not have been as adequate to take care of his mother so he gave his disciple charge of her because he evidently taught he was the best suited one to take on the job. In no way he made Myriam (Mary) our mother by doing so, that is just one interpretation, and sorry dear but many do not agree with it.
    The Torah, law, or teachings of the father is one of the things Yeshua sought to clarify as obviously man was not doing a good job of keeping them even back then but as HE said not a yod of it will pass away till it is all fulfilled and we are still here, que no?
    He also said of those who don’t keep Torah “depart from me I never knew you”. Why? because He loves the father and if you love Yehshua you also love the father thus you are eager to do as he says, that very much includes the ten commandments with the Sabbath (and all feasts are also considered a Sabbath) as a set aside day being the 4th one.
    You are right about the end times, he will not return till Jerusalem says again “Baruj haba bashem Yahweh” Blessed is he that comes in the name of Yahweh. Things are moving fast in that direction as more of my brethren embrace their Jewish Messiah but still the government, and religious leaders in particular need to do so. The other side of it is the gentile church needs to get rid of the Roman cloak that was forced upon her and embrace its Jewish roots, including the Father’s Sabbaths and feasts, then it will cause the Jews to jealousy and then Jews will take a closer look at their own Torah that speaks of Yeshua.
    The way things are right now the world keeps on dismembering Jerusalem while the World Council of churches smiles and speaks of brotherly love, the Muslim governments say lets have the whole land to ourselves, the Illuminati move their chess pieces on the table, and somewhere in the background the anti-Messiah is salivating along with the Beast whose mark the world will receive out of ignorance mostly.
    I expect some big world shattering events will take place within the next 2 years. Watch.
