Almost every day there are news reports that someone was killed or injured in Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel, or in terrorists attacks that seem to be occurring with alarming regularity like the one that occurred yesterday in India. These reports serve as a painful reminder of why forgiveness and compassion are so important. All terrorist attacks and wars are based on polarized points of view. Jesus came to Earth to illuminate a new way of thinking – the way of peace – the way of love.耶稣来到地球照亮新思维-和平路-爱情路. The love that Jesus reveals is no ordinary love. In this love mountains move, seas part, armies vanish, lives transform, and hearts open to the eternal light of God. The way of Jesus is not a path or a movement. It is infinite grace, humility, forgiveness, love, and compassion – a Way of Being.耶稣揭示了这不是一个普通的爱情爱情.谨在此爱山、海上部分,两军消亡,生命变换心中永恒的、针对上帝开放.耶稣不是这样一条或运动.恩典是无限的,谦卑、宽恕、爱、慈悲--一种方式.
Jesus said, “No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; if he does, the patch tears away from it, the new from the old, and a worse tear is made.耶稣说:"没有人缝了一块布料unshrunk旧服装;如果他那样补丁的泪水远离它,新从旧、坏了泪. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; if he does, the wine will burst the skins, and the wine is lost, and so are the skins; but new wine is for fresh skins.” (Mark 2:21-22) The unshrunk cloth represents a new way of being that naturally occurs when you hear, understand, and apply the word of God in your everyday life.没有人把新瓶旧酒;如果他有爆裂的葡萄酒将皮、遗失的葡萄酒,所以是皮毛;但新酒是新鲜皮肤."(马克2:21-22)unshrunk布匹被认为是一个新的方式出现,当你听到自然、理解、用上帝的话你日常生活. If you try to hold on to your old ideas and beliefs a worse tear will result, which simply means that your old beliefs will become a source of confusion and suffering. Likewise the new wine is eternal life – the blood of Christ. This blood is the eternal light of God which cannot be held in the wine skin of old traditions, laws, or human thought. 如果你再坚持你撕坏了旧理念将导致其中,简单的说就是你的老观念将成为混乱和苦难.同样是新酒永生--基督的血.这是血的永恒上帝不能光在皮肤葡萄酒旧传统法律、或人类思想.
Jesus said, “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I say to you, Do not resist one who is evil.耶稣说:"你听说有人说,'以眼还眼,以牙还牙.'但是我告诉你,谁是不抵制邪恶. But if any one strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also; and if any one would sue you and take your coat, let him have your cloak as well; and if any one forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles.” (Matthew 5:38-41) Throughout history people who do not fight back are seen as weak or fragile when in fact the opposite is true. It takes tremendous courage to refrain from fighting back, especially when you think that you are right and the other person is wrong. As Einstein discovered, the laws of physic dictate that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Early Christians understood the teaching of Jesus represented a new way of being. Humility, compassion, forgiveness, and love were the cornerstones of their faith. Their words and actions emulated those of Jesus and the eternal light of God shown forth from their entire being. Many Christians of today have forgotten what Jesus asks of them. The four cornerstones of early Christian life are being eroded by arrogance, hypocrisy, power, and greed. Many Christian leaders in America actually supported the war in Iraq, which is the antithesis of what Jesus taught.早期基督徒明白耶稣为代表的新的教学方式.谦卑、怜悯、宽恕爱是信仰的基石.这些言行效仿耶稣与永恒上帝显示出其光整.今天有许多基督徒耶稣叫什么忘了他们.4月初基督徒生命基石正在侵蚀傲慢伪善、权力、贪婪.许多基督教领袖在美国实际上支持伊拉克战争这是耶稣教什么对立面. In fact some of the more famous evangelists like Pat Robertson are acting more and more like the Pharisees that Jesus so ruthlessly condemned. Pat Robertson even went so far as to suggest on public television that Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez should be assassinated! The one thing that consistently evoked the wrath of Jesus Christ was the hypocrisy of religious leaders.一点激起愤怒耶稣基督始终是伪善的宗教领袖. Jesus exclaimed, “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!耶稣大叫:"你荣辱与共、正态分布和pharisees,伪君子! for you tithe mint and dill and cumin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law, justice and mercy and faith; these you ought to have done, without neglecting the others.你仂萝、薄荷、孜然、漠视法律的重大事项,慈悲、正义和信仰;这些你应该做,但不能忽视了别人. You blind guides, straining out a gnat and swallowing a camel!你盲导游,出紧张、液相吞驼! “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!"你荣辱与共、正态分布和pharisees,伪君子! for you cleanse the outside of the cup and of the plate, but inside they are full of extortion and rapacity.为你清洗之外的杯、盘、但它们内部充满敲诈和贪欲. You blind Pharisee!你盲法利! first cleanse the inside of the cup and of the plate, that the outside also may be clean.第一杯、清洗里面的板,外面也可清洁. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!"你荣辱与共、正态分布和pharisees,伪君子! for you are like whitewashed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within they are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.”(Matthew 23:23-27)你就像粉饰坟墓,外表看来美丽、但他们在充满死亡男装骨骼和所有颜色."(马太23:23-27)
Jesus said these things not just to condemn the hypocrisy of the Pharisees, but to point out something much deeper. He said, “First clean the inside of the cup and of the plate, that the outside also may be clean.” He is clearly pointing out that true faith begins within you. He is asking you to put his words into action in your everyday life or it will leave you with a superficial understanding of his teaching. In other words if on the inside you are filled with hatred and judgment not only will you reflect that to everyone you meet they will reflect the same hatred and judgment back to you. Jesus said, “ The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses’ seat; so practice and observe whatever they tell you, but not what they do; for they preach, but do not practice.耶稣说:"正态分布和pharisees坐在摩西的座位;所以,观察他们的做法,并告诉你,但不是他们做什么;为鼓吹,但不实践. They bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with their finger.” (Matthew 23:2-4) Again Jesus is reinforcing the point that it is not good enough to understand scripture. Scripture must be put into practice everyday if it is to have any value. Otherwise you will demonstrate a pretense or idea of what scripture means instead of demonstrating the omnipresent love that Jesus continually is pointing out. In other words surface level appearances mean nothing. When you look at a wedding ring you do not see the gold that the ring is made from. Likewise if you look at gold of the temple you do not see who dwells within the temple and if you look at a person you do not see who they really are at the core of their being. As Jesus asks, “You blind fools!当你看你看不出结婚戒指,戒指是黄金制成.同样你看庙黄金分你看不出谁在庙中,你看,你看不到一个人如真有其人的核心.正如耶稣问道"你盲阿斗! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that has made the gold sacred?” (Matthew 23:17) Fundamentally Jesus never wants you to forget the source of everything – God. Jesus explains, “Salt is good; but if the salt has lost its saltness, how will you season it?这是更大的庙宇,使黄金或黄金神圣?"(马太23时17分)耶稣根本从未想要你忘掉一切源泉--真主.耶稣说:"盐是好的;但如果盐失去了盐度,你如何季节? A few of you have questioned the power of love. Make no mistake. There is nothing more powerful than love. This love cannot be contained by human thought or ideas. It is a love that goes far beyond the love of your children or the guidance you give others out of love for them. Love is God and God is love – the source of all that is. Jesus is love. His grace and light will live forever. The love that Jesus points to is the source of life itself. You can choose to condemn. You can choose war over peace and judgment over love.
